City Light Studios, LLC ("City Light Studios," "we," "us") builds and tests new companies. This policy explains what information we collect through citylightstudios.com and through the tools we use to run our own advertising, and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you contact us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
When you visit our website. Our website has no forms, does not use cookies and does not run analytics. Like any website, our hosting provider and our font provider (Google Fonts) automatically receive standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, so they can deliver the page to you.
When you see our ads. When you see or click one of our ads, the ad platform (such as Google, Meta or OpenAI) collects information under its own privacy policy. We receive reports from those platforms, mostly in aggregate.
Google account and advertising data. Our internal tools connect to Google Ads through Google's API, using only advertising accounts that City Light Studios owns or is authorized to manage. When you sign in with Google to authorize these tools, they access the advertising account data that permission covers, such as campaign settings, budgets, ads, keywords and performance reports, along with the basic account information needed to sign you in.
How we use Google user data
We use Google user data only to create, manage and measure advertising campaigns in the accounts the user has authorized. Specifically, we:
- do not sell Google user data;
- do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers, and do not use it to serve ads;
- do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes;
- do not transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide these tools, for security, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or sale of our business; and
- limit human access to our team and service providers working on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, where needed to operate the tools, for security, or to comply with law.
City Light Studios' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can remove our tools' access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can also email us to ask that we delete Google user data we have stored.
How we use other information
We use the information described above to respond to you, to operate our website and tools, to run and measure our own campaigns, and to meet legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as hosting, email and technology providers) under confidentiality obligations, when required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it.
Children
Our website and tools are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@citylightstudios.com.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
